Two months ago, I tentatively turned what was in effect a hobby, lifestyle, obsession into a career. I was scared. I was nervous. I had nothing to lose....
I'm delighted that business is growing and I'm getting to meet some wonderful clients, help tell some magical stories through the camera lens and receive 100% job satisfaction.
Today sees the launch of my new website, following the decision to continue to keep the Vintage Dakota brand for my aviation work. The old site was good but this new website allows me to individually exhibit my work under their own names and also offers me the opportunity to sell my images through the online store. I also like the more grown up and sophisticated feel offered through the SquareSpace model.
I will be reposting my recent review of Saal-Digital on the blog, for those who hadn't managed to read it in full yet. I've been very fortunate to be selected to trial a variety of products and this will lead to more live feeds occurring on my Instagram channels - terrifying and exciting at the same time and ever conscious that my Westcountry twang doesn't slip in!
So I hope you enjoy the new website. It is always great to read the comments left, so please do let me know you've stopped by and all that's left to say now is...
Until next time, Smile for the Camera!
